This is where I blow off some steam, so it may or may not be interesting to anyone else, but I don't really care. I am also archiving the word of the day here as well, in case you want to refresh your memory on these wonderful terms.

¡Hola! Happy 2003... Yet another year gone... I'm nearly done studying for the Network+ exam, and with a little hope I'll be certified on Friday. This will allow me ton of time to dedicate to this infant site (At least until I'm cramming for the Security+ exam). I've got some nifty ideas as well as more new content than you can shake a stick at. I got a pretty sweat digital camera for Christmas, so I'll actually start adding some images. I just got a book on BEAM robot technologies, so I'm probably going to start adding pictures of robot creations as I build them, so keep an eye on the projects page for some new stuff....

Soon I hope to be a proud employee at Barnes & Noble, at least if my references don't decide to have a change of heart on me. I do feel somewhat ashamed to burden people over such a trite job, but I guess I have no choice... Anyways, on an entirely different note, Matt and I are diligently working on completing a videogame by the end of the week. Unfortunately, it's not Armeggedon, since there's some major re-working that has to be done in order to get that one up and running smoothly. But, the new project, Wak-Atak, should be pretty darned fun on its own, so check back soon for some exciting videogame action.

Well, after several months of searching nearly every day for job opportunites and only getting an occasional polite shoot down letter, I've finally got my first interview. Granted, it is only Barnes and Noble, but after this long, it feels good to at least be noticed by someone... This momentus occasion has also made me start to get my ass in gear on all the other things going on: the video game, my Network+ certification, my microcontroller projects, programming competitions at TopCoder, and, last but not least, this website. So much to do, so little time. I recommend TopCoder to anyone(or I should say any geek) that wants to keep their programming skills sharp. Even if you don't really want to compete they have practice rooms where you can choose a challenge and write the code and get a score on it.

Ahh, the joys of unemployment... Day in and day out, trying to find a job or company that you haven't contacted someone about. Not being able to enjoy the fun things in life like video games or reading fiction without feeling guilty that you aren't out pursuing job leads. It makes you so glad that you blew thousands of dollars on a top notch education so you could in turn start putting applications at retail stores and fast food restuarants. Not to mention that if you want to go back to your alma mater that they may not take you back since you "already have a degree," and if they do, well, you have to still pay out of state tuition since you haven't been out of school a whole year yet. So, here's to Georgia Tech, I give you the middle finger salute! Hip Hip Hoorah!

November 4, 2002

I apologize to anyone that is avidly waiting for more new and exciting content on this site, but its taking some time to get back into the swing of creating these things. Also, I'm attempting to make this at least look like a quality site, instead of something thrown together by someone using a "website wizard", a bunch of gaudy colors, and stolen animated gifs they happen to run across. Some day my life may be a plethora of excitement that would fill a novel, but as of now its just an existance based on mediocrity.

October 20, 2002

Well, today the site has taken somewhat of a form. Its not much yet, but its a start... Hopefully, some day this will actually lead to something, such as a job for instance(since my millions of dollars worth of education doesn't seem to be enough). Within the week I hope to actually have something that could be considered content, and within the month I will take over the world! (Or maybe just a small territory in Canada.....)
